If you are getting a new puppy or kitten we now offer a ‘fun’ consultation with our nurses a couple of days before vaccinations or in between the first and second vaccinations. 

This is a FREE service so your pet has a fun time when they visit the surgery instead of just having an injection from the ‘scary’ Vet every time they come in. This reduces the stress your pet may feel on further visits to the surgery, making them more confident and less anxious. 

The nurse will get them used to having different parts of their body touched in a play scenario so if they need an examination from vet in the future they will not feel so worried.

The nurse can also discuss any problems you may be having with your new addition by offering advice on such topics as toilet training, nutrition, chewing and much more.
